Annie Marx(Fall 2011-)
Annie is a junior at the University of Wisconsin-Madison pursuing Environmental Studies and Community and Environmental Sociology. She is also working towards a certificate in African Studies. During her time with MEG as the EnAct Intern, Annie hopes to develop a greater understanding of the dynamic between community and sustainable living. In her free time, Annie enjoys riding bike, reading, and chilling on the Memorial Union Terrace.

Teleeana Guydon(Summer 2011-Fall 2011)
Taleeana is a incoming junior at West High School. Tay is in a college prep class called A.V.I.D, in which she had the opportunity to become an intern for one of various different businesses. Coming into the Madison Environmental Group, Inc.Tay was unaware of a lot of little things that she could do to live a sustainable lifestyle, she is now gaining a lot of knowledge from being an intern here. In her free time she loves to hang out with family and friends, listen to music and cook. |

Jake Siewert(Summer 2011-Fall 2011)
Jake is a senior at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and is majoring in Zoology with a certificate in Environmental Studies. He is currently pursuing a career in veterinary medicine but has strong interests in environmental issues. During his time at MEG he hopes to become more informed on sustainable living, and hopes to further spread the ideas of environmental sustainability to the Madison community. Jake enjoys running and triathlons and is currently training for a marathon this fall. |

Lianne Estrella(Summer 2011-)
Lianne is a junior at UW-Madison, majoring in Civil/Environmental Engineering. She is the Green Building Intern and helps with the LEED certifications for various buildings. She is passionate about sustainable designs and looks forward to learning the ins and outs of ways we can improve new and existing buildings. One of her favorite hobbies is dancing and in her free time she loves to take bike rides and hang out by the lake. |

Dorothy Munholland(Spring 2011-Fall 2011)
Dorothy Munholland is graduating from UW-Madison in August with a major in International Studies and a double minor in Environmental and European Studies. As an EnAct intern in the Madison Environmental Group, Inc. office Dorothy is enjoying learning about how an environmentally focused business works. She also enjoys meeting individuals with environmental values and hopes to use what she is learning at EnAct to help other people become more green wherever she ends up after graduation! |

Kayla Baake(Fall 2010-Summer 2011)
Kayla Baake is a graduating senior at UW-Madison pursuing a double major in International Studies with an environmental emphasis and French. She is working as an EnAct intern and is very excited to get started on her path to helping the environment. In her spare time, she is a massage therapist in Middleton, WI, horseback rides with the Hoofer Riding Club, and loves to travel. |

Matt Covert(Fall 2010-Spring 2011)
Matt is a graduate student in the Nelson Institute for Environmental Studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He received a B.S. in political science from Arizona State University in 2009 before pursuing his environmental interests to Madison. Currently, Matt volunteers at Madison Environmental Group doing data entry and outreach for the EnAct program and assisting staff with environmental design and green construction projects. He is passionate about local food systems (the subject of his Master’s thesis) and the potential of public policy, innovation, action, and design to help people live more sustainably. In his free time, Matt enjoys the company of friends and family as well as cooking, bike riding, skiing, and playing music. |

Elissa Brown (Fall 2010-Spring 2011)
Elissa recently graduated with a B.A. in Studio Art and Environmental Studies from Carleton College. At MEG she is working as an intern on the NewenHouse project, helping with landscape design and LEED for Homes certification. She hopes to pursue a career in landscape architecture with a focus on sustainable design and also enjoys cooking, playing music, and biking around Madison. |

Samantha Longshore (Fall and Summer 2010)
Samantha obtained a B.A. in interior architecture with a minor in business administration from the University of Wisconsin- Stevens Point in May, 2010. While interning with MEG, she currently serves as the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) Student Representative to the Board for the Wisconsin Professional Chapter. She intends to pursue an MBA and a career in sustainability consulting. She recently vacationed in Greece with her family and enjoys singing whenever she can.

Naomi Lipke (Fall and Summer 2010)
Naomi is a Master’s of Architecture student at the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign. She is working on the Newenhouse prototype for Madison Environmental Group. Her past experience includes historical renovation, construction administration and hands-on construction work. Her enthusiasm for ecologically and socially supportive design and construction extends back to her undergraduate degree in environmental studies from Oberlin College. Currently she is excited about methods for local food distribution and promoting more diverse urban ecology. She also enjoys spending time with friends and family, learning languages, and trying new recipes. |

Danna Olsen (Spring 2010-)
Danna has a B.S. degree from the University of Wisconsin- Madison in Zoology, Biological Aspects of Conservation and an Environmental Studies Certificate from the Nelson Institute. Some of her interests include promoting organic lawn care, rain gardens and green roofs. Danna was recently mentioned in Madison Magazine for her hard work at UW Hospital where she is working on creating a green roof and healing garden for the patients. |

Jonathan is getting his Bachelor of Science in software engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. He is optimizing the EnAct website. Jonathan is inspired to work for a "green" company after taking a course titled Conservation of the Environment.

Amalia earned her BA in Anthropology from Yale and is currently at the University of Wisconsin working on a Masters in Environmental History. Jenna is a student at the University of Wisconsin-Madison studying interior design and environmental studies. She is interested in creating sustainable and functional interior environments that will support and inspire building inhabitants. Natasha holds a BA in Cognitive Science from the University of Virginia and is currently studying business and sustainability at the University of Wisconsin. She is interested in energy, transportation, and sustainable local foods. Natasha assisted Madison Environmental Group, Inc. with marketing research for a public transportation initiative.

Gabriel Mast (Fall 2006

Gabriel has a BA in Environmental
Science and Anthropology from Dickinson College,
an MAT in Biology from Brown University, and an
MS in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
He is broadly interested in the relationship between
living space and mental and physical well-being,
and specifically in green building, design, and
development. Gabriel worked on the
business plan for Casa Kit Homes, and studied for
his LEED AP certification.
